best-buy computers

Only the best deals!

Top Tip!
Buying a computer online in Ireland, you must first make a fundamental choice!

You either buy a Windows based computer from Dell, Fujitsu or toshiba, or you buy an Apple Macintosh from Apple Ireland.

Toshiba systems are available from high-street stores but are not easily available from any Irish online sites. Dell computers are only available online.

Dell manufactures PCs (personal computers) while Apple make their own variation on the theme.

PCs and Apple computers have their pros and cons and which is your best buy computer depends on what you want to do with it.

Apple computers are favoured by graphic designers and publishers while Windows machines have a much broader following.

The downside of buying online is that you may have to wait up to a week for your new computer to arrive - though in practice, we've never had to wait more than 3 days, including weekends!

The big advantage of buying online is that, for the same money, you can get a much higher specification computer.

Irish buyers of Dell systems have one major advantage - Dell's European factory is in Limerick so a PC that might take a week or 10 days to deliver to the UK or Germany can usually be built and delivered to anywhere in Ireland in 3 or 4 days.
