Misco Ireland
Misco is a specialist mail-order office supplies company. They have an office and warehouse in Ireland and deliver next day by courier. The website is very easy to use and everything from ordering to delivery and making payment is a model of efficiency.

If we have a criticism, it is that they are much too fláithiúilach with paper - once you register with them, they bombard you with catalogues at the rate of one or two a month - yes, a month!

Aside from that, Misco is a model of efficiency. Orders turn up the next day, complete and on time.
It is convenient to order all your office supplies from one place.

For core office supplies - paper, pens, files, binders, paperclips, tape, etc Misco's prices are hard to beat.

The convenience of online ordering and delivery to your door tomorrow (same-day if you're in or near Dublin) makes Misco a winner.

Give their own-brand paper a try for general internal office use. It's about half the price of branded supplies and is virtually indistinguishable.
#1 Watch out for their promotions on the front or back of each catalogue. Sometimes, they are well worth having - but only if they are for something you actually need, of course!

#2 For a small home-office, Misco is still a good bet - even with a small delivery charge, they will beat the socks off your local office-supplies shop.

#3 For canteen and cleaning supplies, these things are often substantially cheaper from Misco than from your local supermarket or even the Cash and Carry.

inkClub
Inkclub is one of the many specialist inkjet cartridge specialists offering replacement cartridges for most inkjet printers.

Their site and their offer are simple - just inkjet printer supplies. The prices are extremely good - even allowing for delivery you should save nearly half over the cost of a high-street shop.

Don't even think about buying cartridges direct from the printer manufacturer or from a high-street shop. Prices here are not far short of scandalous!

In addition, cartridges have a limited shelf-life and many high street shops don't sell enough of them to keep the stock fresh.
Inkclub cartridges are much cheaper because they are not from the printer manufacturer. There is a myth around that using anything but the manufacturer's cartridge voids your printer warranty.

That is simply not true and has not been since the EU banned the practice years ago. Have no fear of buying a non-brand cartridge. We have used them for years and never had a problem.

Delivery costs less than €5 and takes one or two days in Ireland so even for a single cartridge, you'll save money.

Incidentally, the other solution to cutting the cost of inkjet refills is to refill your own cartridges. Don't even think about it! We've tried it and can honestly say we wouldn't ask your mother-in-law to do that job! It's a dirty messy procedure and the results are nothing but heartache. You have been warned!
#1 Never, ever buy cartridges from high-street shops.

#2 Forget refilling your own cartridges. At most, you'll save 20% and you'll spend the saving in tissues, both for wiping up the mess and for crying into when you start printing!

#3 Don't buy more than 2 month's supply at a time. They don't keep and, if your printer dies, it's likely that a new one won't accept the same cartridges.

#4 If you must buy in the high-street, always check the best-before date.
