AMD Link allows transmission of PC games for Android TV and Apple TV

AMD Link allows transmission of PC games for Android TV and Apple TV

In the launch year of the AMD Link application in 2017, the user experience with the app was limited to a few features, such as remote monitoring of PC feature usage and statistical data. Later, when it gained the ability to stream games, such as Nvidia GameStream, Moonlight or Steam Link, the AMD GPU aspired for ways to bring the experience to their TVs.
In the past two days, no boasting or big announcements, AMD has released the AMD Link app for Android TV and Apple TV. The company silently updated the  AMD Link page with new platform support, according to the internet file and with an update similar to the text of the listing in the Play Store.
A new, Android-specific version of the application was also seen in  APK Mirror. In addition, a  recent update of Radeon Adrenalin software mentions new support for connections to Apple TV and Android TV devices.

The application listing indicates that there are three main sections when the user uses the TV:
• Connection section: connect to your PC quickly and easily to get AMD Link for your Smart TV started;
• Games section: launch your PC games and stream them to your Smart TV (or see recent media);
• Media section: playback game moments saved on your PC.
AMD GPU owners, who own Android TV or Apple TV, can download the AMD Link application in the  Play Store and the  App Store.
