Huawei, the owner of the Honor sub-brand, announced two new smartphones: the Honor 9X and it's premium version, the 9X Pro. Both devices are equipped with an elongated, “non-alkaline” screen and an iridescent glass-metal case with a pop-up selfie camera.

New models, the successors of last year's Honor 8X and 8X Max, are equipped with a 7-nm Kirin 810 processor with liquid cooling technology for heat dissipation. Declared support for LTE-networks, Wi-Fi (802.11ac), Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, USB-C and 3.5-mm audio input for headphones. A fingerprint scanner is located on the side, writes Gizmochina. EMUI 9.1.1 shell, based on Android 9 Pie, is installed on both devices.

The Honor 9X has a 6.59-inch LCD screen with an IPS matrix (19.5: 9 aspect ratio, Full HD + resolution), up to 6 GB of operational and 128 GB of internal memory, a 4000 mAh battery. The resolution of the front camera, crawling out of the case, is 16 mp. There are two main chambers: a 48-megapixel sensor with an aperture of f / 1.8 complements the auxiliary depth sensor (2 megapixels).


In Honor 9X Pro - the same size, screen and battery that the "fellow". However, this model has up to 8 GB of RAM, a flash drive up to 256 GB (UFS 2.1) and three cameras: the main 48-megapixel, an ultra-wide 8-megapixel lens and a 2-megapixel sensor for creating depth effects.

In China, Honor 9X will be released July 30, the Pro version - August 9. The prices for the "regular" model are as follows: 1399 yuan (~ 12,800 rubles) for the 4/64 GB version of memory, 1,599 yuan (14,600 rubles) for 6/64 and 1,899 yuan (17,400 rubles) for 6/128 GB. Honor 9X Pro with 8/128 GB will cost 2199 yuan (20,100 rubles), and with 8/256 GB for 2399 yuan (22,000 rubles). The release date of new products on the international market is not specified.
