Bulletstorm arrives by surprise at Nintendo Switch eShop

Announced during PAX East 2019 , the Nintendo Switch version of Bulletstorm, known as Duke of Switch, received a surprise release last Friday (August 30). Without fuss, publisher Gearbox Software made the game available on eShop for the suggested price of $ 29.99 - so far, the game has not appeared in the Brazilian version of the store.

Based on the remastering now available for PC , PlayStation 4 and Xbox One , Duke of Switch is named after including Duke Nukem as a playable character. In addition to being controlled during the campaign, the character also stars in the Duke Nukem's Bulletstorm Tour mode , which made its debut in updated versions of the title.

Developed by People Can Fly , Bulletstorm tells the story of Grayson Hunt , who worked as a murderer at the behest of a corrupt government. After discovering that his targets were innocent people, he and his former colleagues revolt and engage in fighting their former commanders - a confrontation that should culminate in a meeting in Stygia , an abandoned planet-resort.
On other platforms, the version of the game that came to Switch is known by the subtitle “ Full Clip Edition ” , offering Duke Nukem- linked content as a separate DLC. The original version of the game hit stores in 2011 at the hands of Electronic Arts , with PlayStation 3 , Xbox 360 and PCversions .

Acquired by Epic Games in 2012, People Can Fly is responsible for the development of Gears of War: Judgment, the much-criticized chapter of the series. Now again independent, the company is working on Outriders , a sci-fi shooter designed to be played cooperatively with up to 3 players.
