Huawei Mate X to be released later this month in China

The year 2019 was quite exciting during the initial months, since the long - awaited foldable smartphones from Samsung and Huawei have been revealed - Samsung Galaxy Fold and Huawei Mate X . However, both smartphones have had to undergo many design changes to increase durability, so the launch of both smartphones has been delayed a few times. The Galaxy Fold has been on sale since the beginning of this month, and now it's Mate X's turn .

The Huawei had confirmed last month that the foldable smartphone Huawei Mate X would be available since October, and now new information states that the smartphone will go on sale in its home country, China, by the end of this month.

The Huawei Mate X comes with a flexible display that was first shown at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2019 technology event in February. At that time, the device was powered by the Kirin 980 chipset . Folding phone sales were expected to begin in August, but were delayed by the company without revealing the reasons behind it.

It is speculated that the company may launch two versions of Kill X . One may include the Kirin 980 and the other may come with the latest Kirin 990 chipset that supports 5G connectivity natively. It is speculated that the variant SoC Kirin 990 to mate X display the same triple chambers that are available on Huawei P30 Pro .

The smartphone comes with what the company calls "Falcon Wing Design". Unlike the Samsung Galaxy Fold, it folds completely, with no visible slack. The company says the hinge system used in the phone is patented and has more than 100 components.

The Huawei Mate X has a large 8 inch screen with a screen resolution of 2480 x 2200 pixels and an 8: 7.1 aspect ratio when deployed with very thin frames. When folded, it turns into a two-screen phone - one side is a 6.6 inch (2480 x 1148 pixels) 19.5: 9 screen, the other is a 6.38 inch 25: 9 ( 2480 x 892 pixels).

It comes with 8 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. It has dual SIM support (nano only), but only SIM 1 supports 5G. You can also exchange the second SIM card for Huawei NM card up to 256 GB. The device also comes with the 7nm Balong 5000 Modem which brings 5G support to the device.

The phone runs the custom EMUI 9.1.1 interface , based on the factory default Android 9 Pie operating system . As for connectivity options, the device supports NFC, dual-frequency GPS, Bluetooth 5.0, 802.11 b / g / n / ac Wi-Fi, and Type C USB port.

The device has two built-in batteries, which offer a total capacity of 4,500mAh. The Huawei also debuted its new fast charging technology supercharge that supports up to 55W. The company says the new SuperCharge allows users to charge their device from zero to 85% in just 30 minutes.
