Pixel 4 doesn't shoot 4K at 60fps and Google has an excuse for that

With videos limited to 30 fps, quality will also be limited and video noise will increase. The Google already went public to explain the reason for this limitation.
Google launched its new Google Pixel 4 to 15 October. One of the best things about the device is that it records in 4K, but only at 30 frames per second (fps).

Hi Pixel 4 supports 4k video recording on the rear camera at 30fps. We find that most users stick with 1080p, so we focus our energy on improving our quality in this mode, versus enabling 4k 60fps mode that could use up to half a gigabyte of storage every minute.

As you can see in the tweet above, one user wondered why there was no 4K video recording at 60fps on the smartphone. The official Google account rushed to argue that it did so because users prefer 1080p.

Google says users prefer 1080p

"Hi, Pixel 4 supports 4k video recording in the rear camera at 30fps. We find that most users use 1080p, so we focus our energy on improving our quality in that mode, instead of enabling a 4k mode at 60fps. which can use up to half a gigabyte of storage every minute. "Google wrote.

This question is raised for two main reasons. First, Google built a legacy of high quality cameras in the Pixel range. However, the video still leaves something to be desired.

Most premium smartphones on the market now offer 4K at 60fps

On the other hand, most premium smartphones on the market already combine these two features in video recording. OnePlus 7T Pro limits this same recording to 5 minutes due to storage limitations.

Google is right to say that they are heavy files, but that cannot be an excuse. Just as it can not be an excuse to say that users prefer 1080p. Also, if users have guaranteed quality in 4K, they will surely opt for that resolution.

The OnePlus 7T Pro and OnePlus 7T Pro Edition McLaren were announced nearly two weeks ago in London. However, OnePlus did not announce a 5G version of the device, as it did with OnePlus 7 Pro. Now this opportunity seems to have come shortly, as the OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren Edition was announced today. This is a 5G version of McLaren Edition and will be available in the US as a T-Mobile exclusive.

The phone also has an on-screen fingerprint scanner running Android 10 and comes with a 4085mAh battery with Warp Charge 30T support.

The OnePlus and T-Mobile has not announced the price and its release date, but pre-booking has begun.

ZTE Registers Names Blade V12 Vita and ZTE Blade V13 Vita

ZTE Registers Names Blade V12 Vita and ZTE Blade V13 Vita

The ZTE Blade V10 Vita was launched in February as an affordable range device equipped with a Unisoc processor . If we follow its release line, its successor is expected to arrive in February next year during MWC 2020 . However, there is a possibility that the successor to the Blade V10 will not be released as the Blade V11 Vita based on recent ZTE trademark applications .

The ZTE applied for registration of several trademarks in the World Intellectual Property Office (WIPO) last week and the database shows that there is no device called Blade V11 Vita . Instead we have Blade V12 Vita , Blade V13 Vita and continue to Blade V18 Vita .There is also no Blade V17 Vita .

It is not uncommon for a manufacturer to skip a number when it comes to naming its products. Popular examples include OnePlus skipping the name of OnePlus 4 and Samsung skipping the Galaxy Note 6 .

Based on the trademarks, it is safe to say that the successor to the Blade V10 Vita will be the Blade V12 Vita . Its specifications are unknown and may remain so until January 2020, but both should remain a more basic device.

Honor V30 to be released in November, confirms Huawei subsidiary president

Despite Google 's apparent lack of access to essential services, Huawei cGoogleues to produce smartphones. We already know that the Honor submarine is working on the Honor V30 and V30 Pro, which may be the next major victim of the US ban. We have already seen renders, and even alleged specifications, and official confirmation that it will be offered in the 5G variant.

Honor Chairman Zhao Ming revealed subtle details about the upcoming device while talking about 5G at the 6th   World Internet Conference in China. It was on this occasion that he revealed that the Honor V30 5G will make its official debut in November.

Although not given a definite date, the Honor brand head also suggested that the V30 smartphone will support the 5G NSA and SA network architecture.By mentioning this upcoming smartphone, Zhao points out that the smartphone will easily become the center of young people's lives. I don't know if this is good.

Honor V30 Details

There is not much we can tell you in terms of official revelations. However, the device is reported to come in two variants - a standard HonorV30 and the HonorV30 Pro. Obviously, both variants will come with 4G and 5G options. Previously unveiled images / renders of the Honor V30 / V30 Pro suggest that the series, like the V20, will come with an on-screen punch design. But this time, information leaks say it will feature a double hole for two front selfie sensors.

Other specs and features include a 6.5 inch OLED display (LCD panel for the V30), perhaps with a 90Hz refresh rate, powered by a powerful Kirin 990 5G SoC, 60MP quad rear camera and 4200mAh battery with stand for super-fast 40 W charging and 15 W wireless fast charging

Release outside China

The device may launch first in China before moving to other markets where it will ship without essential Google services - including Google Play. Nothing to worry us about.

Asus presents its new smartphones

Asus presents its new smartphones

Asus launched on Monday two new smartphones: the Zenfone 6 and RoG 2. The new Zenfone stands out for its revolving camera design. When choosing the flip, the front camera and rear camera are practically the same: just adjust the position of the sensors to capture the image in the desired direction.

They are two sensors. The first, with 48 megapixels of resolution and f / 1.79 aperture. The second camera is wide-angle: it has 125 ° aperture, the so-called super wide, and 13 megapixel resolution. The motor rotates the camera module up to 180 ° so the user has the freedom to use them as they see fit.

With this camera format, Asus freed the Zenfone 6's 6.4-inch screen from cutouts, holes and notches. The display occupies 92% of the body of the device. The smartphone uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor and will have versions with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

Another interesting highlight of the Zenfone 6 is the 5,000 mAh battery, one of the largest in smartphones. In Brazil, the Zenfone 6 will sell for prices starting at $ 2700. Asus also announced the RoG 2, the brand's smartphone gamer.

The Digital Look has had the opportunity to try both devices. On our page you will find a full video review of Zenfone 6 and a really cool hands-on of the new RoG 2. Check it out!
